Are e-cigarettes safe?

E-cigarettes are significantly safer than tobacco cigarettes – at least 95% safer. 

Are e-cigarettes a “diving board” to smoking? 

Currently, there is no proof that e-cigarettes would pave the path for children or non-smokers to smoking. 

Are e-cigarettes harmful to bystanders?

Currently, there is no proof that passive vaping has any health effects (research has been conducted!). 

Will e-cigarettes help to quit smoking?

The best thing a smoker can do is to quit smoking entirely. Research has proven that e-cigarettes greatly assist in quitting smoking and significantly reduce health risks in comparison to smoking. 

Should the Stop Smoking Service recommend e-cigarettes? 

We invite all aid organizations to recognize and support e-cigarettes and recommend them to smokers.
